Hunie is more than just a pet—she’s my best friend and has been by my side through some of the hardest moments in my life. Recently, Hunie escaped from home, and in the short time she was gone, she was hit by a car. I rushed out to look for her and arrived just after the accident, immediately taking her to the hospital. The experience was terrifying, but I’m grateful she’s still with me and fighting to recover. Unfortunately, Hunie suffered a fractured pelvis from the accident, and her recovery will take time and ongoing care.

Hunie has helped me through the loss of my grandma, my mother’s hospitalization, and even the loss of my childhood home. She’s always been my source of comfort and hope, and now she needs me more than ever. Her medical bills are adding up quickly, and she’ll need ongoing care, treatments, and follow-up visits to heal from her injuries, especially her fractured pelvis.
