Válasz Online is a collective of journalists founded in 2018 by five former staffers of the Hungarian weekly Heti Válasz which ceased publication in summer 2018. Válasz's funding is based on micro-donations, guaranteeing its independence. Over the past 2 years, its articles have been quoted by The New York Times, Le Monde, Gazeta Wyborcza, Ukrainska Pravda, RIA etc.
