Dear friends and fellow community members,

Hugo is a dedicated student in 2nd grade who recently suffered a devastating loss when a fire destroyed his family house. With no insurance to help cover the financial costs of the damage, Hugo and his family are now facing the challenges of rebuilding their life while continuing to send Hugo to school for his studies. They are currently placed in a temporary shelter but will have to find another place of residency in a week. The fire left Hugo, his sister, and his mother with nothing but the clothes they were wearing that day, leaving nothing salvageable.

This GoFundMe page was created to help with Hugo's essential needs like temporary housing, furniture, clothing, food, and school supplies, giving his family a little bit of relief so Hugo can continue going to school during this difficult time.
