We are incredibly proud of our lovely boy, Hugo, a 12-year-old goalkeeper, who has just achieved something truly special! After navigating two highly competitive trial days, Hugo has earned the coveted goalkeeper position for one of the Midlands Independent Schools Teams. Now, he's been given the chance of a lifetime — to represent England and play at the Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden in the summer of 2025!

The Gothia Cup is not just any tournament. It's often referred to as the Youth World Cup, where thousands of young athletes from around the globe come together to compete on an international stage. For Hugo, this is more than just football; it’s the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and dreams. It's a chance to grow, learn, and experience the excitement of competing against the best young players in the world.

The costs of attending such a prestigious tournament are significant — travel, accommodation, equipment, and tournament fees all add up quickly. While Hugo’s determination and commitment to football have brought him this far, we’re reaching out to our community, friends, and family to help ease the financial burden of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
