Hi, my name is Jan Me-An. I’m the mommy of my furbaby Huggie. He is my world, only 10 years old, and has been diagnosed with heart failure because of a degenerative or weak mitral valve.

I'm trying to get him mitral valve open-heart surgery at the Royal Veterinary College in the UK, but it costs $21,000, excluding hotel and travel fees for a two-week stay in the hospital. The surgery is not available in the US right now. He is truly the sweetest dog, an angel on earth full of life; he deserves to live for a long time with no pain or suffering. He is on heart medications that are bad for his kidneys. Meanwhile, he is a very healthy little boy besides his heart condition.

Please help my baby fight this disease for good. All the proceeds will go to Huggie’s surgery. The heart surgery will not only help cure his heart failure but remodel his heart back to normal as if he never had the disease. The surgery is life-changing and will give me a lot more years with my baby. I love him with all my heart and just want to give him the best life possible and a chance to live a lot longer.
