Help Hudy Further Her Education

Hi!
              My name is Hudy Berger, and I live in Garnerville, New York. I graduated high school this past month  and plan on attending the University at Albany this fall as a biology major. I grew up in an extremely religious community where education was limited.Education was not a  priority, therefore, high school was the highest form of education exposed. However, when I was six, my parents divorced leading my mother, sister, and I to leave the community. Growing up with a single mother brought many challenges; money was consistently an obstacle. As I grew up, financial struggles became more evident . This past year has been extremely rough. Even though my mother works hard to pay the bills and put food on the table, she is unable to financially support me in any other ways. Therefore, I work part time as a server in a restaurant. This allows to pay for clothes,necessities, etc. Due to my past, I don't take education for granted and know it will lead me to great opportunities. 

              Although ,I qualified for some financial aid and government loans, there is still a large gap. I saved up money from my job to help me pay for college. However, it is not enough. The stress of covering tuition, paying books necessary for my classes,toiletries,  dorm room necessities, and even paying to send my AP scores to my college is a burden that falls strictly on me. I can't rely on anyone to assist me financially which is frightening. I want to focus on my education, not how I am going to be able to pay for my college or for a coat in the winter. Any amount would be appreciated and extremely helpful.
