Help Hudson Fund a Teen Heart Screening Event

Tax deductible
Hi! This is Hudson (and his mom). Less than a year ago Hudson learned he had a heart condition that could have caused him to suffer sudden cardiac arrest! Thanks to a Free heart screening by Austin, TX based Championship Hearts Foundation, the condition (Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome) was discovered before anything terrible occurred. Hudson had the cardiac surgical procedure to correct the problem a few weeks after its discovery, and was back to an active high school life. Now, Hudson is supporting this online fundraiser to benefit Championship Hearts Foundation and “pay it forward” to help other teens receive a free heart screening.

You’ve probably seen recent news reports of teens having collapsed due to undiagnosed heart conditions, with many of them suffering sudden cardiac arrest or even sudden cardiac death. Let’s make an impact locally by finding these hidden heart issues BEFORE another tragedy strikes. Take a few minutes NOW to support Hudson’s efforts by making a tax-deductible donation to this fundraiser. Your donation could help save a life!

Hudson’s unexpected heart journey impressed upon him the desire to give back to Championship Hearts Foundation (ChampHearts.org) by volunteering and by helping raise funds to support a Free Teen Heart Screening Event this autumn for other teens in his high school and in surrounding neighborhoods. Help him reach his goal to fund a Teen Heart Screening Event in Austin, TX for 150 students.

The FREE Teen Heart Screening provided by Championship Hearts Foundation includes an Electrocardiogram and limited Echocardiogram, non-invasive and painless tests, that can help detect several heart conditions known to cause sudden cardiac death. With an approximate $700 value per screening, the program receives support of local cardiologists who volunteer to interpret the screening tests and is recognized by the Texas Chapter of the American College of Cardiology as a quality initiative. Imaging equipment is supplied by local medical entities, and screening venues are provided by area clinics, hospitals, and schools. The Teen Heart Screening program is powered with the help of dozens of adult and teen volunteers.

Thank you, Hudson, for your courage to share your experience and bring awareness to the CHF Teen Heart Screening program!❤️
