“Your child has cancer.” Words no parent wants to hear. A visit to urgent care on January 19th shattered their world. Hudson turned 8 years old in September and has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer - Burkitt’s Lymphoma. He is on day 8 in ICU and has cancer in many parts of his body, including his kidney, mass on his heart, lung, skull, and spine. Yesterday, he was started on temporary dialysis. We’re awaiting further diagnostics to confirm other locations the cancer has spread.

Mom is a local ICU nurse but needs to be with her little one as they navigate a scary time with another younger son at home. Please consider donating to help offset medical expenses and mom not being able to work as she cares for her sweet boy. They live an hour from CMH. Dad is traveling daily to and from the hospital.
