Hudson has battled frequent infections since birth and he finally got an answer why: DOCK8 Deficiency. This is a Primary Immune Deficiency that has been identified in about 230 people world wide. The current treatment is IVIG monthly until he can get a Bone Marrow Transplant to hopefully extend his lifespan. The purpose of this page is to raise awareness to this disorder, follow along with Hudson’s journey, and help him and his single mom navigate the chapters to come.
