Hudson is a 9 year old boy who lives for baseball. He plays for a MP 60 and little league minor team for Carine Cats Ball Club - Baseball Division.

When Huddy was participating in batting practise on Wednesday 21st February, he was accidentally struck in the mouth with a bat. This knocked out one of Huddy's adult front teeth and fractured both front teeth. It also caused lacerations to his gums and palate. He underwent surgery at Perth Children's Hospital. They were able to suture up his gums and palate. They also buried the teeth's roots to preserve the bone, so that false teeth will appear more natural. Now that the stabilising work has been completed, Huddy's family are looking at the prospect of ongoing dental expenses for his growing mouth, which will largely not be covered by Baseball WA insurance. Huddy is expected to need further dental restoration work including veneers, caps and crowns. This has been a tough month for Huddy and his family but as usual Huddy has stayed strong and been a real trooper. He has kept his sense of humour throughout this ordeal. Please help Huddy!
