Hi my name is Huckleberry. I am 5 years old. People say I am a Pitbull, but my mom says I am a pittie baby. My mom went to the dog shelter and asked for the sweetest, kindest, most affectionate dog they had, and there I was! A few things to know about me are:

My favorite food is hamburgers, my mom thinks its ice cream and I don't argue with that
My best friend is my mom's dad, he let's me call him dad, sit on his lap, and he share's all of his food with me. He also has a nice farm with a pond that I get to play on every week.
I like to sleep with my whole body under a blanket, the warmer the better
I love to go to the dog park and play with other dogs. If some dog get's too rough, I break that up. 'Cause there is no fighting at the dog park!

Recently, I hurt my leg pretty bad. I was running and playing a good game of "you can't catch me" and my knee went POP. Since then, I have to limp or hop and I can't run real fast like I like to. The doctor says I need surgery to fix it. The surgery is very expensive, and so is the recovery. And it will take 12 weeks to get back on my paws, and up to 6 months for a full recovery. My mom says the surgery alone is $4,500, and that I am very expensive.

If you could help us out that would be great. Mom says we can't go through drive thru's because we are saving money.
