Hi my name is Emily Peña, my Dad Hubert Peña was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in March of 2019 due to his exposure to Agent Orange as he is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. His doctor has found a medication that is has been working for the last 16 months. The medication cost has recently doubled to $5000 a month, all of which Hubert is paying for out of pocket since Medicare will not cover costs in Panama where he lives. He has no way to afford this cost and needs the medicine by August 20th. He has a claim approved by the VA veterans benefits, but it is delayed. The gap in coverage and medicine is life threatening.
