Hi, my name is Kimberly, and I'm the founder of Cosmic Waters Kitty Rescue, a small rescue dedicated to helping cats in and around Hubbard, Texas.

Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and over the years I've seen firsthand just how many cats are struggling to survive on our streets. Every time I see another hungry kitten, an injured stray, or a mother cat trying to protect her babies in impossible conditions, I'm reminded that they don't have a voice to ask for help. That's why I started Cosmic Waters Kitty Rescue, to be that voice and to make a difference in our community.

One of our biggest goals is to launch a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program to help humanely reduce the growing population of community cats in Hubbard.

Right now, we are in the planning stages and are working through ABC Clinic's TNR program in Waco, where they are helping guide us through the process of building a successful and responsible TNR program. Before we can begin trapping, there are important steps we must complete, and one of the biggest is raising the funding needed to get this project off the ground.

The reality is heartbreaking.

Every day, community cats struggle to survive. They face hunger, disease, injuries, parasites, harsh storms, and the relentless Texas heat. During the summer, temperatures often climb well into the triple digits. Finding shade and fresh water becomes a daily fight, and many kittens never survive their first summer outdoors.

The cats didn't choose this life.

Without spaying and neutering, the cycle continues. One unspayed female cat can have multiple litters each year, and those kittens can grow up and have kittens of their own. Before long, a few stray cats become dozens, and eventually hundreds. The population grows faster than rescues and caring community members can keep up with, leaving more cats to suffer.

That is why this TNR program is so important.

By humanely trapping, spaying or neutering, vaccinating, and returning healthy community cats to their colonies, we can prevent future litters, improve the health of existing colonies, and reduce suffering in a compassionate, long-term way.

Your donation will help provide:

* Spay and neuter surgeries

* Rabies vaccinations

* Humane traps and trapping equipment

* Recovery supplies

* Transportation to and from appointments

* Food and other essential supplies needed to operate the program

No donation is too small. Whether you give $5 or $500, every contribution brings us one step closer to helping the cats that call Hubbard home.

If you're unable to donate, you can still make a huge difference by sharing this fundraiser with your family and friends. Every share gives these cats another chance to be seen by someone willing to help.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for believing in this mission and supporting Cosmic Waters Kitty Rescue. Together, we can create a healthier future for Hubbard's community cats, one life at a time.

With gratitude,

Kimberly
