Help Hubba Hubba Revue Keep Going in 2025

Dear Hubba Hubba Revue Friends, Fans & Fam,
With your incredible help, our show not only survived the lockdowns, we were able --thanks to you, DNA Lounge, and our talented, technical all-stars, to keep the show running by webcast until the world reopened again in June of 2021. For all of that, and for all your amazing generosity, we are eternally grateful.
If only the next words in this story were, "And they lived happily ever after... "
For the 3 years since the lockdowns, we have had some fantastic highs and some difficult lows, but either way, we've definitely put on 3 years of spectacular shows! --with aerialists, acrobats, pole dancers, troupes, groups and, of course, the tops in tease from all across the country, and around the world.
Unfortunately, 2024 has been an agonizing struggle. We have a good month, we have a great month.... And then, out of the clear blue sky, with no identifiable reason, our numbers tanked, wiping out months and months of slow and steady progress.
Is it the current, Summer COVID surge? Is it the election? The Olympics? Aliens?
We don't know.
We've done everything we can, from negotiating with our very accommodating venue, to cutting what staff we can when we can, to constantly seeking out new promotions and partnerships to keep our 18-years-running show alive, but in these perilous times, one bad month sets us very far back, two in a row are cataclysmic, and increasingly there's nothing left in the tank to keep us going when that happens... Not to the next week, the next month, the next show.
We know things are tough all over, and a burlesque & variety show, even on the scale and with the legacy of Hubba Hubba Revue, is hardly a necessity, but we hope, as we approach our second decade as a part of the Bay Area's entertainment landscape, that we've made enough of a difference, provided enough fun and joy, and opened the door to live performance for so many people, that you'll consider helping us keep going --for the rest of this year, and, hopefully, into the future.
Despite a difficult 4 years since March 2020, the Bay Area is still an exciting, creative and vibrant place to live, and we hope that you see us, and our shows, as part of what makes living here such a wonderful and rewarding thing.
If you can contribute to help us keep keep going; for our big anniversary show next month, our spooky October event, our beloved "Damsels & Dragons" fantasy-themed show in November, and our 18th annual Holiday spectacular this December, we would love that very much.
We'd love even more to sell you tickets, and see your beautiful faces at our shows, but if you can't make it, maybe you can still help make it happen.
Thank you, very much, and sincerely yours,
--Kingfish
