Support floods in for Hub16 Studios — a queer-run hub championing emerging DJs and producers, now seeking support to prevent closure this January.
Hey everyone - it’s been a year since we lost our studio, and this week we’ve hit another setback. The DJ equipment we’ve been borrowing is no longer available, so I’m reopening our crowdfund to help us replace our kit and secure our temporary studio space so we can keep operating and avoid closing down in January.
We’ve run out of funds to cover rent and running costs, and without support we risk losing the space - but with a bit of help from our community, we can bridge the gap and keep going.
We urgently need to:
1. Replace our decks, mixer and event speakers
2. Secure our studio space for the year ahead
3. Transition from a micro-business into a CIC (Community Interest Company)
This past year has been intense. After the flood - thanks to your support - we kept going: hiring temporary spaces, teaching weekly, and rebuilding community wherever we could. But it’s left us in a financial jam with no access to funding. And the nature of our work means we can’t keep putting prices up.

If you believe in seeing a diverse roster across clubs, festivals and radio, please consider donating or sharing this page.
Every bit of support helps us get out of this jam and stay open for another 10 years - serving the next generation of DJs and producers. We raised £10k last year when we flooded and have reopened this page - as we're still getting back on our feet.
We are seeking donations from our community - and call on industry and nightlife business who share our vision to consider donating to this gofundme.
Thank you
Samantha & the Hub16 Crew
