Hello, my name is Erynn. This year has presented considerable challenges for my brother and sister-in-law. Some of you may know that my brother was diagnosed with colon cancer in June and subsequently underwent surgery to remove a tumor. Since August, he has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments and has several more sessions ahead. Today, he received the distressing news that he will need to have part of his toe amputated due to a diabetic ulcer and a bone infection tonight. This news has come as a shock to him, and he did not expect to be unable to work for the next month. If you are familiar with my brother, you understand that he is the foundation of his family and is always eager to assist others.
