Surgery for Howie’s Hoppy Life

Hello everybunny!

Howie is a rescue bunny who cannot live his best life until he gets bone surgery.

His previous owner neglected him and surrendered him to the OC animal shelter while he had several health issues. Through FUR Rabbit Rescue (Friends of Unwanted Rabbits), he was adopted within hours of his euthanasia appointment.

After a CT scan, it was found that his foot has an old fracture that is now infected.

His surgery date is February 25th. He will need an external fixator attached to his bone followed by weekly tightening to repair and save his little leg.
