Hi, I am Jill. I created this GFM to help Jay and Kat with costs for rescuing Howie. If you could lend a hand, it would mean everything. He is precious and here is his story.

"Meow, my name is Howie. I was born on a 2nd level rooftop of an apartment complex. I found myself alone and desperate. I was terrified. I lost my sibling and could not find my mother. Suddenly, I saw these two people, Jay and Kat, who didn't shoo me away or yell at me; they cared about me. They kept talking to me, telling me I would be ok. I was still scared because I didn't know if they would try to scare me, yell, kick, or hit me. Day by day for a week, they proved they would not hurt me, so I got closer. I wanted to trust them. Eventually, I got closer little by little; they just talked to me until I took the chance and touched them on the hand. They didn't scare me or yell. Finally, over the next few days, they just sat with me for hours, taking the time to get to know me. Eventually, they picked me up, pet me, and didn't hurt me. This took a lot of trust on my part to take that chance. I love these people and they love me. I want to spend my life with them, bringing each other joy for years to come.
