Help House a Victim of Domestic Violance

A young friend (keeping her identity anonymous right now), who recently moved to Maine with her boyfriend, has become a victim of domestic violence and needs to move out of their shared apartment ASAP.  She is doing the right thing working with Through These Doors (https://www.throughthesedoors.org/) getting a protective order, but she would be safer living in a place the abusive boyfriend doesn't know about, so she really needs to move into an apartment or find a roommate situation.

The average rent for a studio apartment here in Portland is about $1,000.  So to make first and last and rent for a month would be $3,000. 

This young woman's life is in jeopardy after ending her four year relationship and she needs help, like we all do from time to time.  Please join me in helping her find safety.
