Help house 4 cattle dogs for cancer patient

Hi, my name is Kelly Capra. I’m fundraising to purchase some kennels to bring a friend’s four Australian Cattle Dogs to our home. Their mom has been ill and recently diagnosed with very aggressive uterine cancer. She is single with no family nearby, and has been in the hospital for three weeks. Two days ago, she was moved to a convalescent home. Her friend has been paying an incredible amount of money to have the dogs boarded, and cannot afford to keep that up. The breeder of a few of the dogs has been contacted, but she has no room for them, and would have to find them homes. Financially, flying them back to her is not an option, and I know that she is hopeful to recover and be reunited with her dogs. I am more than happy to go get her dogs from the boarding facility in the foothills and care for them here. I am in a tough position, as I, too, have no empty kennels. We have the space and the time for them, but looking for help to raise some money to purchase kennels with roofing, bedding, and a few items to get them comfortable. I have also posted in a few places, just to see if anyone had kennels they were no longer using. She had 5 horses that she rescued many years ago that have been picked up by a vet and a rescue. These dogs are her whole world. I know they must be scared and very confused right now. Any amount is appreciated. I plan to get the dogs this week, and set something up for them. She has been very active in the Australian Cattle Dog world. Please share. I’m happy to give more info to anyone requesting it. But I did not want to put her name and situation on blast.
