Help Hotlum Heal

Hotlum Eco-Regeneration Camp experienced a catastrophic fire in June of 2021 followed by a historic rain event in October causing flash floods and debris flows wiping out all road access and halting any rehabilitation efforts to the area. Yet we continue to pursue our vision. We need your support to continue in our activities to be a resource for learning for generations to come. There is a place for everyone to help. Please donate whatever amount you can. It really makes a difference.

Crucial to Mount Shasta and the world
The forests on the north side of Mount Shasta are crucial to the hydrological cycle of the Shasta River and the Klamath River watershed. This is one of the most important salmon habitats in California.

We've been working for over 3 years developing and implementing new ways to restore the northern slopes of Mount Shasta after over 100 years of timber extraction and Fire suppression. Collaborating with Ecosystem Restoration Camps and CalFire, we are working to demonstrate revolutionary methods of restoration which can support the efforts of the Shasta-Trinity National Forest to restore the burn area after the Lava Fire. These techniques are important to the  global community as wildfires increase.

Purpose
Hotlum Eco-Regeneration Camp is dedicated to the restoration and healing of humanity's relationship with the Biosphere.

Our Vision and Objectives
Our vision of an environmental education camp which provides opportunities for experiential learning in ecopsychology, ecospirituality, & ecorestoration, to holistically address the struggles of ecological grief, eco-anxiety, engendering eco-empathy is ever more relevant today. These objectives have been hampered by the pandemic, wildfire, and flood. In order to continue with our vision and objectives we need your support now. Please join us on site for a training or offer a donation, no matter the amount, to help in restoring our relationships with our fellow humans and all of life on Earth.

We are in dire need of financial support this month in service of maintaining the payments to continue pursuing our goals!

We must raise $10,000 by March 25th, 2022.

Every donation helps, no matter how big or small. Together we can continue restoring the land teaching skills and tending hearts .
