Help Hot Mess recover from a burglary
Donation protected
With their permission, this is made on Hot Mess' (and the Nokes family's) behalf.
On the night of February 4th, a particularly unsavory individual managed to break into the Hot Mess food truck in downtown Kennewick. This truck, winner of multiple 'Best Burger in Tri Cities' awards, had its front pried open and cash register and POS systems taken. And of course, this couldn't come at a worse time. Now, on top of running a small family business, the Nokes family have to deal with repairs, replacements and awfully slow insurance claims.
Not just that, but even their very chairs are an issue! Any money that gets raised here that goes past the replacement and repairs, will go towards replacing the chairs for their patrons. The existing chairs had to be put away due to a lawsuit against the manufacturer about the safety label on their packaging. Now, on the days where the weather is nice enough to sit outside and enjoy the Tri-Cities best smash burger, there's not even available chairs, making it yet harder to recoup the loss from the break-in.
I'm posting this to help get these guys back to flipping the best burgers in town as soon as possible. Any help at all is appreciated!
