Hi, we're the Hurling Team, The Catholic University of America's newest club sport. We're looking to raise funds to host the First Jack O'Brien Hurling Tournament on 25-26 October 2025. In its first year, colleges and universities from up and down the East Coast will compete for the Jack O'Brien Cup, sponsored by the AOH National Board.

Who's Jack?

Jack O'Brien was a deeply involved member of the Irish American community here in Washington, DC. With a passion for history and preservation, he took part in the construction and dedication of several monuments honoring Irish heritage, in Antietam, Annapolis, and Washington, to name a few. In his later life, he played an instrumental role not only in the AOH in Washington, but also in introducing the Irish-American community in the Capitol Region to our Hurling Team.
