Hortencia Aliaga is an inspiration to us all. In 2024, she conquered the world stage, winning gold in the 10,000m and bronze in the 5,000m at the World Masters Athletics Championships!

But her dedication goes beyond. She selflessly coaches young athletes at a school in North New Jersey, nurturing their passion for track Unfortunately, however, she recently lost her classroom assistant job through no fault of her own. This unexpected setback puts her dream of competing at the World Masters Athletics Championships in late March 2025 in jeopardy.
