Help Hope the Cat Get Life-Saving Vet Care
Hope is a gravely ill stray cat who was found hiding under a car, bleeding from the mouth, emaciated, and in visible pain. As a colony caretaker, I (Roxana) was alerted to his condition and immediately took action to get him the urgent help he desperately needed.
Thanks to the support and teamwork of compassionate people, Hope is now under veterinary care — but he still has a long road ahead, and we need your help to continue his treatment.
Medical Update (from 9/7):
Hope’s bloodwork came back mostly normal, except for signs of inflammation. He’s currently on Gabapentin to manage his pain, as he’s unable to eat much or tolerate touch due to the severe condition of his mouth.
The veterinarian suspects either a deep laceration or a cancer-related infection in his mouth. To determine exactly what's going on, he’ll need sedation for an X-ray and a biopsy, scheduled for tomorrow.
So far, the medical expenses include:
Initial vet care & bloodwork: $610
Biopsy under sedation (scheduled): $500
SNAP test (not yet done): $50
Total needed: $1,160
We are urgently trying to raise $1,200 to cover these medical expenses and give Hope a real chance at survival and comfort. We are also looking for a foster home for him once he's stable enough to leave the clinic.
Despite his pain and suffering, this sweet soul is fighting to live. Hope deserves the chance to experience safety, love, and relief from pain — maybe for the first time in his life.
Please donate if you can, share this campaign, and help us keep Hope’s story moving. Every share and dollar truly makes a difference.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,
