Last December, my family traveled through Tanzania and visited The Hope Girls and Boys School recently opened by our family friend. It was amazing to see how this school was changing kids' lives. For my Bar Mitzvah project, I have decided to launch this campaign to collect money to donate to the Hope School so they can afford more computers for their students. The photo you see here is of me visiting the unfinished computer lab.
Let me share more about Hope Girls and Boys School. The School was founded by our family friend, Lucas Mhina, in 2018 in the city of Matevesi, Kosingo, Tanzania. He bought 10 acres in 2016 and constructed brand new school buildings, athletic fields, an auditorium and playgrounds. The school educates middle and low income students ranging from 3 to 13 years old. Hope School currently enrolls 163 children, of which 14 are on scholarship. The school will enroll up to 250 students. Instruction is in English. The mission of the school is "to provide in a nurturing environment, a quality education that challenges all students to attain their highest potential academically, socially, creatively and physically." Hope School needs help to afford computers, especially as they expand and welcome older students. I am fundraising to help my friends afford laptops for their school.

I hope you consider donating in any amount. I am so grateful that you are supporting my Bar Mitzvah project and the students of the Hope Girls and Boys School. Thank you!!
Asante Sana (thank you in Swahili) for donating!
