Hopes Retirement and Medical Bills Fund

Hope is retiring!! Woohoo! As many of you know, Hope has worked at Horizons, or what ended up being Horizons in the end, for over 30 years. Well, more like she is such a huge part of Horizons that we just are not going to know what to do without her. She has poured her heart and soul into our beloved school. Now it is time for her to move on to the next chapter of her life. Retirement! Woohoo! But, as you may know, educators, and especially those that support educators, do not get the pay they deserve. So, Hope will be transitioning to a new job of some sort. She has a WONDERFUL attitude about it. Ready for the next adventure. But, I, and many others, thought it would be great to show her how much we love her while also easing this burden a little for her. So, if you are feeling moved to contribute, please do! EDITED TO ADD-As many of your know, Hope has had some unfortunate medical things come up. She has been diagnosed with LPR(Laryngopharyngeal reflux in addition to lung inflammation from pericarditis). She has been to the ER, ICU, had surgery, and has been hospitalized. She is now in a rehab facility and will be sent home with some expectations that she will have the medical gear she needs. These things will have many costs beyond what insurance covers and now some uncertainty if she will be able to work after retirement. What crappy timing!! Anyway, if you can at all, let's help Hope out. She has spent her life helping others and let show her how much she is loved. Thank you all so much!!  xxooo
