My name is Kimberly, and I’m writing to you with a heavy heart as Hector’s loving partner of over 10 years.

Until recently, Hector was a strong, active, hardworking man—someone who took pride in providing for our family and helping others. But suddenly, everything changed.

Out of nowhere, Hector was diagnosed with a spinal hematoma—a serious and rare condition where blood collects around the spinal cord, compressing it and disrupting function. Although he had been in an accident many years ago, we never imagined it would result in something so devastating. One day he was walking, and the next, he was left unable to move from the waist down.

He underwent emergency surgery to remove the hematoma, but despite the procedure, Hector still can’t walk on his own. He’s now unable to work, and we’re facing the unimaginable.

Cover urgent medical and rehabilitation expenses not covered by insurance (including therapy, mobility aids, and alternative treatments), assist us in paying our mortgage, utilities, and basic living expenses while Hector heals.
