400+ Kids. One Incredible School. No Permanent Home.

Imagine being one of Oregon’s top-performing schools but not having a permanent place to call home.

That’s the reality for more than 400 children at Hope Chinese Charter School in Beaverton, Oregon.

Hope is a tuition-free public Mandarin immersion school where children learn two languages, embrace different cultures, and receive an exceptional education.

But despite its success, Hope’s future is uncertain.

Our school operates in an aging, leased building. Unlike traditional public schools, charter schools receive less funding for facilities, leaving Hope with enormous financial challenges.

After searching more than 100 properties, Hope has identified a potential permanent home.

But we face a critical deadline: December 2026.

Our community is working to close a critical funding gap to make this opportunity possible. We have just weeks to rally support.

As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to think that a school giving so much to our children could face an uncertain future simply because it doesn’t have a building of its own.
