Help Hooyo Haliima with Emergency Medical Costs

“Give charity without delay, for it stands in the way of calamity.” (Tirmidhi)
Assalām ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh
A calamity of our own just happened to our mother, Haliima. Just a few days before she was scheduled to come back home to the states, Hooyo Haliima fell and fractured her hip in Somalia. The injury she sustained is severe enough where it is now causing her to need a joint hip replacement surgery.
Typically this surgery would be covered by insurance, but since Hooyo Haliima is currently in Somalia, it would need to be paid entirely out of pocket. Additionally, the flight back to the states would be extremely costly due to all of the accessibility measures needed to taken to ensure a safe return home.
These costs, in addition to the daily accruing hospital costs as she waits for surgery, are beyond the financial capabilities of our family.
Which leads us to our ask — we humbly request your assistance and support in raising enough funds to cover these necessary medical expenses.
Even after a successful surgery inshallah, there will be several months of healing. Adding a financial burden atop all that can only prolong recovery times.
We urge you to spend whatever you can for verily, Allah will spend on you (Bukhari). And if you are unable to, we pray that Allah rewards your sincere intentions and we ask that you share this campaign to your family and friends.
