Hello. Meet Hooch. Hooch is a French Mastiff(Dogue de Bordeaux) that has developed severe hip dysplasia and can hardly walk due to the pain he is in. He also has multiple tumors growing along his back. He is on a regimen of doggy aspirin but it doesn’t help much. He can no longer use one of his back legs and hops around as much as a 150 lb dog can hop. Hooch has been a good dog, companion, and guardian. He deserves to be without pain.

If you know us, you know that we adopted Hooch before Pedro, my husband, had a Spinal Stroke that left him quadriplegic. Our financial situation has suffered greatly. Pedro can not work, and I get very little income for taking care of him.

Unfortunately, it is time for Hooch to be put out of the pain he is in and visit the doggy rainbow bridge where he can run around and play again. Due to our situation, Hooch’s size, and his hip dysplasia, we have to pay for a vet to come to our home in order to euthanize Hooch. It is also important for Pedro to be present with Hooch for his last moments, as Pedro is Hooch’s person. We just cannot afford this right now but hate to see Hooch in pain.
