Help Honor Yara's Memory and Legacy

Yara Linette Rodriguez 1/30/81 - 06/26/24

Hello. I was asked to set up a GoFundMe fundraiser for funeral expenses by Yara’s friends.

Yara has unfortunately passed away into the arms of the Lord last Wednesday with her two daughters, her husband, father, and sister right by her side. She is preceded in death by her mother and her son. She is survived by her four other children.

Yara suffered with liver failure, ultimately claiming her life. She has suffered with lupus as well. Our Lord God has decided to bring her home after a long and tiring battle. Although Yara battled with her sicknesses, she remained a great mother to her beautiful children, she was a loyal and great friend to her loved ones. Yara was a beautiful, strong, hardworking, family-oriented, and kind soul… there are no words that can truly describe how wonderful she was as an individual. Nothing stopped her from proceeding and moving forward in life. She was such a bright light, always bubbly and positive… she just simply never let anything get her down. Yara loved to bake Puerto Rican dishes, in which she would sell to her community in Lancaster. Yara will be deeply missed and will be remembered every day by her friends but most importantly, her family.

Her first viewing will be held on 07/07/24 @6:00pm-8:00pm. The second viewing will be held on 07/08/24 @12:00pm- 2:00pm and her burial shortly after.
