Help Honor Wayne Faris with a Proper Farewell

I am asking for help to pay for funeral expenses for my father Wayne Lee Faris aka "Bugeater". Wayne passed away February 19, 2025 from a heart attack at age 76. He was a Navy Veteran, worked as a cook at Nebraska Lutheran Out door Ministries for quite a few years as well as other restaurants in Southeast Nebraska area. He was very active in the Home brewing communities including "The Brewing Network" and "South Omaha Brewers". He was known as "Bugeater" with in the brewing community. He was a kind non-judgemental man who was full of life and always brought smiles to the faces of his friends and family. He did not have a life insurance policy and I do not have the resources necessary to pay for everything. I have reached out to Veteran's Affairs for help and they will only cover so much. So now I'm reaching out here to all his friends and family who loved him for donations to help me put my father to rest. Thank You.

Dad's Services will be held at Braman Mortuary and Cremation services, Millard chapel, located at 6505 s 144th street,Omaha, Nebraska 68137. Visitation will start at 1pm and funeral service immediately after at 2pm.

He will be buried at the National Veteran's Cemetery. We do not have the set flag ceremony/burial time yet. It will be Monday 2/24 that I will be able to finalize date and time.
