Hi, my name is Ayanna Gardner, and I'm writing this with a broken heart. On July 16th, my mother, Vonchelle Renee Gamble lost her life in a tragic car accident while she was delivering mail as a dedicated postal worker.

She was simply doing her job, serving the community she cared so deeply about, when the unthinkable happened. In an instant, my mother, my best friend, my protector, my biggest supporter, was taken from us far too soon.

She was the life of every room she walked into. She was full of laughter, warmth, and an energy that drew people in. She didn’t just show up for people. She made them feel like they mattered. She loved deeply, laughed loudly, and lived fully. She worked tirelessly to provide for me, many times going without, and never asked for anything in return.
