Tony Morris, known to many as Boney, was a cherished member of the Real Big Creek group—a circle of friends that has stayed close since 1972. Most people are lucky to have one or two lifelong friends, but our group has at least fifty, though sadly, we are losing more every day. Tony was a big part of our lives, always living life to its fullest and bringing joy to our reunions and fishing trips.

In the last couple of years, Tony’s health began to decline due to kidney failure. It got to the point where he didn’t want to leave the house, and he missed the last few annual reunions of the Big Creek group. He didn’t even make it out fishing last year, which says a lot about how tough things became, since everyone knew what a great fisherman he was. On January 14th, Tony passed away, leaving a big hole in our hearts and our community.

I am raising money to cover Tony’s funeral expenses. At 74 years old and living on a fixed income, I simply can’t afford to pay for his funeral on my own. I’m reaching out to friends, family, and anyone who knew Tony or the Big Creek group, asking for your help to give him the farewell he deserves.
