Hello good people,

As many of you know, my stepdad, Thomas (Tommy) Mendoza, passed away the evening of November 25th. He was found unresponsive in his cell at R.J. Donovan Correctional Facility. This is beyond unexpected, and we are shocked at this tragic news. He was loved beyond belief by his family. Many people have positive memories of their interactions and time spent together. He filled our hearts with so much love and joy; it is going to be especially hard to figure out how to live this life without him. We had so many plans and so much hope for his release. He was recently resentenced and was looking towards getting to the parole board. Tommy worked hard to attend sobriety groups and grow his education. We are incredibly proud to be his family, and he will be beyond missed by my mom, Beth Ford, and me, Sierra Gonzalez.

My mom and I humbly ask for your support during this challenging and unexpected time. No one ever anticipates losing a loved one, but we are shocked to hear of Tommy’s passing. We are needing support to help us with the following:

- Cremation

- Small remembrance service (including flowers, printouts, food, etc.)

- Food for family gathering following the service

- Urn(s)

- Memorial jewelry

Any remaining funds will be given to my mom so she doesn’t have to worry about taking time off to grieve the loss of her husband.
