Tim Shay, a 1988 graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School, was known for his friendly nature, sense of humor, and his love for his dog Rocky. He was a friend to many and always brought a smile to those around him. Tim’s passion for golf was well known—he loved playing and talking about the game with anyone who would listen. His warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Tim’s passing was sudden and, unfortunately, he had not made any arrangements in advance. With no immediate family, his cousin graciously stepped in as next of kin to handle the necessary arrangements. The cost of cremation and interment has created a financial challenge for those who cared about Tim. Friends of Tim Shay are coming together to raise the funds needed to cover his cremation and, if possible, to inter his remains with his father. Any additional funds will go toward cemetery expenses and a memorial to mark his grave.
