My father, Thomas Gerald Scott, was a loving and adventurous man who brought joy to everyone around him. He was one of five brothers, a father of four, a grandfather of six, and a great-grandfather to one. He touched many lives with his kindness and sense of fun. He was deeply loved by his family and friends, and his passing has left a tremendous void in our hearts.

Recently, my father passed away unexpectedly in the hospital after suffering a collapsed lung and an amputated foot. He also had kidney failure and required dialysis treatment three times a week. I am the youngest of my siblings and have poured my savings into building my dad an ADU so he could be cared for in his last days. I lost my main source of income in October to care for my father, making it even harder to manage the financial burden. While I have managed to purchase a burial site, I cannot afford the rest of the funeral services, including a viewing, casket, and burial.
