Help honor the young life of "Big Kevo" Kevin Reitmeir

Donation protected

The loss of our Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, beloved family member, Friend and new friend of the West Side Community, is tragic, heartbreaking and unimaginable for anyone who had the privilege of feeling that spark of greatness that our Kevin Josiah Reitmeier was.

As we take this time to grieve as a family, we wish to hold him close for who he was was to us. Please take this time to hold your memories of Kevin and your loved ones close while we take this time to grieve privately.

AND ON AUGUST FIRST WE WILL SHARE BIG KEVO WITH THE WORLD!!!!!!

It is an honor to invite family, friends, his school community and out of town guests and church members to the service at The Holy Christian Church in Saint Paul at 11am on August 1st.

It is with gratitude for the love shown by those that knew him, and to honor the young man that Big Kevo was, that his mother and the family invite ALL that were touched by Kevin in his schools, in his churches, in his community and those wishing to support the family, to celebrate with us following the service. Please come wearing your favorite shades of Purple and X-Box Green. Please check back regularly for coming details.

We wish to honor Kevin, his mother, the family and friends.

After suffering the loss of their father in 2018, the family rose above tragedy and trial, to a beautiful life with their step- father, taking over the engine tinkering and fishing trips, cooking and helping with homework. Kevin's mother, Gigi, has earned her degree and will be advancing her education this fall and just purchased a home this last year in the wonderful West Side Neighborhood; both of which are first generation accomplishments.

Together, they have raised wonderful children who enjoy the outdoors, would rather go camping and boating than Disney World, are smart, well mannered, adventurous, inquisitive, gentle, helpful and lovers of all people!

Let's all come together to help in the celebration of Big Kevo, maintaining the memorial and honoring the family by giving them the resources they need to move forward once again, without added pressure for finances.

*** All are welcome and encouraged to leave a note or add to the memorial of Kevin at the intersection of Ohio and George streets in St. Paul. It warms the mother's heart, as well as all those close to him, to see how he had impacted so many. We tend to it day and night. Clips are available to pin the notes to the string of lights.

**** Kevin's younger sister and brother chose how far out to put the lights, in hopes that it would be filled. Let's see if we can make that happen for them!

Thank You,

Nanna Angie, Grandma Val and Nanna Stacy
