Dear friends and family,

With broken hearts and deep sorrow, we share the unexpected passing of Shamika Jones- a beautiful, vibrant young woman who left us far too soon. Her death was shocking, sudden, and has left everyone who loved her devastated beyond words.

Shamika was a girl who was so full of love and life and had a smile that lit up every room she walked into. Her promise and heart were big enough to carry everyone she cared for. But perhaps, her greatest joy and proudest role was being a mother. She leaves behind her greatest legacy- her beautiful 7 month old daughter, Royalty.

Royalty was the light of Shamika's world, and now, without her mother, she faces a future filled with many unknowns. As we grieve this absolutely heartbreaking loss, we are asking for help. We are asking for help in not only support to honor Shamika's memory with a proper funeral and memorial, but to also begin building a foundation of care and support for little Royalty's future.

All funds that are raised will go towards funeral expenses, and anything remaining will go towards her grieving family and her child to ensure she is supported as she has to grow up without her mother by her side.
