It is with a broken heart that I share the sudden passing of my soulmate and partner of 27 years, Richard "Hacksaw" Andersen.

Richard and I spent nearly three decades building a life together filled with love, loyalty, and countless memories. He was not only my partner but also my best friend, the person who stood by me through everything life brought our way.

We believe Richard suffered a heart attack while trying to break up a dog fight. That moment reflects the kind of person he was—someone who stepped in to protect and help without hesitation. His sudden passing has left an enormous hole in my life and in the hearts of those who knew him.

During this incredibly difficult time, I am facing the unexpected cost of funeral and memorial expenses. I'm starting this GoFundMe to ask for help honoring Richard's life and giving him the farewell he deserves.
