Help Honor the Life of Hector Solis

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Hector Solis, who left this world unexpectedly on July 13th, 2025, at the age of 62.

Hector was a loving and devoted father, son, sibling, and friend. Known to many in the Tucson music scene, he was truly a “jack of all trades” — a talented musician, coach, chef, DJ, storyteller, and the kind of man who could light up any room with laughter. He lived life with heart and humor, always putting others before himself.

Unbeknownst to his family, Hector had been battling cancer. He kept his diagnosis private, likely to spare those he loved from heartbreak. His passing came suddenly after a medical emergency, leaving his family shocked and heartbroken.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of bringing Hector home, cremation, and giving him the beautiful service he deserves. Any remaining funds will go toward outstanding medical bills and supporting his daughter during this incredibly difficult time.

Hector’s daughter remembers him not only as her dad, but as the man who shared and nurtured her same love and passion for music — who inspired her deeply through his creativity and spirit. She also recalls how he made the coolest Halloween costumes and never missed playing Santa Claus every Christmas. He made life feel magical and meaningful, always wanting those around him to feel seen, loved, and uplifted.
