Dear friends, family, and surrounding community,

We are deeply saddened to report the sudden passing of our dear and beloved friend, Courtlandt Spear. To know him was to love him, and we humbly ask for your support for his wife, and our best friend Jen, as she navigates costs that follow this challenging time. Jen is the best of the best, and we want to do anything in our power to take stress off her plate while she adjusts and heals.

Court was a shining personality, a complete genius with a playful and warm sense of humor. He brought instant light, love, and comfort to every room he entered. He was an extremely hard worker, a true empath, and a loving son, husband, and dog dad. He fought to support and encourage those who were lucky enough to cross paths with him. There is no way to truly describe what a pure gem of a human he was, but we hope to lift him up through supporting Jen's healing.

As many of you know, Court was Jen’s biggest supporter, encouraging her to pursue her education full time while he worked hard to make that possible. Like many couples, they shared dreams, responsibilities, and, at times, financial burdens. With Court’s passing, Jen is not only navigating the immense weight of grief but also the financial realities that come with losing a partner.

This fundraiser is meant to provide some breathing room helping with monthly living expenses in the short term and addressing shared financial obligations, as Jen finds her footing and maps out the next steps in her career or further education.

Any support, whether financial or simply sharing this campaign, is deeply appreciated. More than anything, we are grateful for the love, kindness, and community that surrounds Jen during this time. Thank you for being part of that.
