Our hearts are broken as we share the devastating loss of Brady Flowers II, an 18-year-old beloved son, brother, friend, teammate, and star football player who was tragically shot after school in Washington, DC on May 7, 2026, and passed away from his injuries on May 8, 2026. Brady was more than an athlete. He was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew him. He was respectful, driven, kindhearted, and full of dreams for his future. He brought pride to his family, strength to his teammates, and joy to his friends and community.

No parent should ever have to endure the pain of losing a child in such a senseless act of violence. We are raising funds to help Shantae Flowers with funeral expenses and the unexpected financial burdens that come with this unimaginable tragedy. Most importantly, we want to give the community an opportunity to stand beside this family during the darkest time of their lives.
