One week ago, I lost the love of my life - Matthew David Martin. His passing was sudden and devastating, and I am still trying to find my footing in a world without him.

Matthew was a man of unwavering faith, deep kindness, and quiet strength. He was the type of person who truly saw people—he was thoughtful, compassionate, and always the first to offer help. He loved fiercely and lived generously. We shared a beautiful bond, rooted in Christ and in love, and some of our most treasured memories were made at the ocean—especially our engagement in St. Thomas and our wedding on the beach in Haiti.

Sadly, Matthew had no life insurance, health insurance, or savings in place, and the cost of his funeral and burial will be approximately $12,000—an amount I simply cannot cover alone.
