Tara was a bright light in our lives—an incredible musician who played guitar and sang beautifully, a talented athlete, and someone whose heart was always open to others. Tara's death was unexpected, and there was no life insurance in place. She fought kidney failure since 2023 and spent a lot of time in the hospital near the end. We weren't prepared for her passing, emotionally or financially. She wanted to get burial insurance, but I always thought we had more time. I think she knew her time was near, but I didn't realize how close it was. Losing her has been incredibly hard for our family.

The funds raised will help cover Tara's funeral expenses, including cremation, a celebration of her life (to be scheduled when the weather allows), and her final resting place near the ocean.
