My grandpa wasn’t just my grandpa — he was someone who showed love in the small, everyday ways that matter the most. He didn’t always need big speeches or grand gestures to show he cared. Sometimes it was his presence, his advice, his humor, or just knowing he was there when you needed him.
He taught me things that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life — about strength, about kindness, and about showing up for the people you love. Even on hard days, he had a way of making things feel a little more okay.
What I’ll remember most is how he made people feel. He made people feel seen, safe, and loved. That’s something not everyone can do, and it’s something I’m grateful I got to experience.
Although losing him hurts more than words can explain, I know his love doesn’t end here. It lives on in our memories, in the lessons he gave us, and in the way we love each other because of him.
Losing our grandpa has been incredibly hard. He meant so much to so many people. As we navigate this difficult time, any donations toward funeral expenses would help relieve some of the financial burden. Even sharing this means more than you know.
