Help Honor Steven Tidwell
We are deeply devastated and heartbroken over the loss of Steven. He was a son to Kathy and Steve, a brother to Brian, Robert and his sister-in-law Tricia, an uncle to Nathan, Brianna, and Drew. He was a grandson and he was our cousin, nephew and friend. He was Steven John, Stevie, and to his mom he will always be her baby.
Steven was generous and compassionate beyond measure and smarter than he ever gave himself credit for. His laugh was contagious and frequent. Everything he loved was with a true passion, including Broncos football, DC United Soccer, Weezer, and professional wrestling. He loved drama and history and was fascinated by genealogy. He loved all sports and and would be happy to chat about anything sports related. He was truly terrified of birds, especially the big ones. Mostly, Stevie loved his family and friends and was the proudest uncle in any room. Stevie never missed an opportunity to tell you he loved you.
He gave his time freely, whether you needed help moving or setting up for a family gathering. He loved to volunteer as an AYSO referee and had also spent time as a traveling soccer referee with other organizations.
Steven's giving spirit will be the last thing he does on this earth; he was a donor and One Legacy will be evaluating to see if he is a match for anyone. His legacy will live on through the lives he will save, and nothing would make him happier.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for the outpouring of love the family has received. So many have reached out to ask how they can offer support. With the sudden and unexpected loss of our dear Steven, there are expenses his family is dealing with that could have never been foreseen. His family would be grateful for any financial support at this time. Our wish is to provide Steven with a memorial service that honors the special person he was to so many. Any additional funds will provide financial support to his immediate family for any other unforeseen costs. There is a huge hole in our hearts and in our family that can never be filled. We could never really say good-bye, because his memory will live on through our memories and our love for each other. However, we can peacefully lay him to rest, surrounded by his loved ones.
Our goal is to raise the funds during the next 2 weeks, so that a proper service can be arranged. Your love and support are genuinely appreciated during this time.
