EDIT: Thank you all so much for the donations. We have been able to begin fulfilling my dad's wishes for his final resting place, as well as put together a gathering to celebrate his life. This will be held on Sunday January 5, 2025 at 12pm at EB Rains Jr Park (11801 Community Center Drive, Northglenn CO, 80233).

On December 17, 2024, my uncle, Steve Lovato, passed away unexpectedly. He was 54 years old with two children, Isabella and Josiah. They were his pride and joy. He proudly served the community of Denver for many years until he retired as a Denver Deputy Sheriff.

Josiah was about to graduate high school, with his dad spending every minute he could teaching him all about auto mechanics. Isabella was with him any minute she could while taking college courses and working. She was always helping take care of him and spending time with him, whether it was driving him to doctor's appointments, grocery stores, or just going to see a movie with him.

He didn't have anything put in place for funeral expenses with this being so unexpected. His family wants to respect his wishes and give him the burial and service he wants and deserves.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Eva Connie Manzanares, his step-father, Ronald Manzanares, and his dad, James Charles Lovato.

He is survived by his daughter, Isabella Lovato; son, Josiah Lovato; brothers, Albert Lovato (Michelle Lovato), Chris Lovato (Trish Lovato), Kenny Lovato (Athena Lovato); sisters, Denise Lovato Rhoads (Mitch Rhoads), Angela Lovato, and Melissa Lovato; his nieces, Ashley Rhoads, Brittany Rhoads (Myles Lindberg), Kori Rhoads; and his nephew, Isaiah Rhoads, along with many other nieces and nephews.
