It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Stephen Romain, who left us peacefully today 25 Aug 2025 at 7:14 am. Stephen was known as “the life of the party” by friends and family — a man whose laughter, stories, and warm presence brought joy wherever he went.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Karen Hughes; his mother, Cora Stevenson; his brother, Eric Romain; his children, Shannon, Kristen, Stephanie, and Jerome; and his grandchildren, Makaih, Keondra, Adrian, Skylar, Kelton, and Kobe.

Our dad Stephen had been battling health challenges for some time, and while we are comforted knowing he is now at peace, our family is deeply saddened by this loss.

Unfortunately, he did not have life insurance, and the unexpected medical and burial expenses of laying him to rest have placed a heavy burden on our family. We want to give him the farewell he truly deserves — one filled with love, dignity, and the respect he earned throughout his life.

We are reaching out with open hearts to ask for any support you can offer, no matter how big or small. Every contribution will go directly toward covering funeral costs and helping us honor Stephen’s memory in the way he deserves.
